Taking inspiration from old print ephemera as well as injecting humor into designs, Louise Lockhart, the designer of this matchbox produced a fun and striking design, inspired by Mexican folk art.

Archivist is run by husband and wife duo William and Sarah in Oxford, England. As the name might suggest, the archives of the Natural History Museum is where they first began hunting for vintage images, but now their range of letterpress cards, prints, and matches has expanded to include collaborations with artists all over the world.
